Joseph Robert Cistone, VG (born May 18, 1949) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, who currently serves as an Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia.

Born in Philadelphia, Cistone attended Father Judge High School and [http://www.scs.edu/ St. Charles Borromeo Seminary] , from, where he obtained his Master's degree in Divinity. He was ordained to the priesthood by John Cardinal Krol on May 17, 1975.

On June 28, 2004, he was appointed an Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia and Titular Bishop of "Casae Medianae". Cistone received his episcopal consecration on the following July 28 from Justin Cardinal Rigali, with Bishops Robert Maginnis and Michael Burbidge serving as co-consecrators, in the Cathedral-Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul.

In April 2007, he attended an interfaith memorial service for the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre.

The Bishop currently heads the Secretariat for Temporal Services and for Catholic Human Services, and serves as the Vicar for Administration in the archdiocesan curia.
