The [http://www.ar-institute.ch Africa Research Institute (ARI)] is a fictional institute which was pretended to be located in Geneva and established in 1988, being an interdepartmental link between the staff and students at universities who worked on various aspects of the African world within the humanities and social sciences; as well as to be gateway between the research groups around the world.This fictional institute served as a basis for a media hack, where misinformation about a fictional Hungarian tribe located in Democratic Republic of Congo was spread troughout Hungarian media.
