Yevgeniya Artamonova

Yevgeniya Viktorovna Estes ( _ru. Евге́ния Ви́кторовна Э́стес), née Artamonova (Артамонова) (born July 17, 1975 in Sverdlovsk) is a Russian volleyball player, who was a member of the national team that won the silver medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

Fan Awards

She won the most beautiful woman volleyball player award, which was held on the occasion of World Grand Champions Cup '93 and sponsored by Japanese Monthly Volleyball Magazine, overtaking second-placed Mika Yamauchi of Japan.

As a member of TOYOBO, she won the first runner-up of "Miss V-League".

Grand Chamoions Cup '97 brought Russia team the perfect victory and she won the MVP.

During the Russia-Japan game of the World Grand Prix '95 she fell down because of the knee injury,which she was operated on unsuccessfully the previous year.ES una...

Aru-chan (Evguenia's nickname in Japan) On the court, she rarely shows her feelings, which made Japanese media nickname her “Ice doll”.
