Marvin "Snoop" Minnis (born February 6, 1977 in Miami, Florida) is a former professional American football player who played wide receiver for three seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and one season with Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was with the Miami Dolphins when his NFL career was cut short by a back injury. Minnis was nicknamed Snoopy by his Mom because as a kid he was always "snooping" around, getting into everything. He led Florida State in receptions during the 2000 season and was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award. He was the Offensive MVP for FSU in 2000. He currently holds the FSU record for the longest TD reception of 98 yards against the Clemson Tigers, but only caught 17 touchdowns during his career at FSU. Snoop is currently a salesman with Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Pines, FL. He was known for his cornrows hair style as a player.
