Vangos (Greek: Βάγγος), older form: Vaggos, is a Greek village located around 11 km northeast of
Megalopoli , 18 to 19 km north from the nearest interchange with the GR-7/E65 (Kalamata -Megalopoli - Tripoli), about 52 km southeast ofAndritsaina , about 23 km southeast ofKarytaina and about 44 km west-southwest of Tripoli. Vangos had a population of 106 in2001 for the village. Vangos is also in the municipality ofMegalopoli . Vangos are connected with a road tgoTripoli to the southwest andKarytaina along withStemnitsa to the west which is connected with the Megalopoli -Alonistaina Road 5 km west.Nearest places

Vagos is situated in a mountain slopes overlooking at the river which empties into the
Alfeios westward. The mountains cover the area and are made up of rocks with grasslands and bushes along with a couple of forests and ungevetated spots at higher elevations. Farmlands are within the village. Its panorama includes theLykaio mountains to the west, its nearby mountains can be seen.Population
