Jeff Pegues

Jeffrey Pegues (born in 1974 in Connecticut) is an American News Correspondent. Most recently, Jeff works as a reporter for WABC-TV in New York City.

At WABC-TV, Pegues can be seen reporting major news and getting exclusive storylines. When he is not in the mainstream, Pegues could be seen filling in on several newscasts. Also, Pegues is in line to replace current alum Steve Bartelstein, who received his pink slip on March 9, 2007.

Pegues is mostly known for his reporting. He received an Emmy-Award Nomination for both his coverage on the Democratic National Convention in 2004 and his report on Hurricane Rita from Texas in 2005.

Prior to coming to New York City, Jeff held a main anchor position at other stations outside of the city. Most recently, Pegues was a reporter for WBAL-TV In Baltimore, Maryland. He also earned Emmy Award nominations for that tenure. Before that, Jeff worked as an evening anchor at WSVN-TV, the FOX Affiliate in Miami, Florida.

Currently, Pegues lives in Manhattan with his wife and daughter.
