Smithville School District

Smithville School District is a school district located north of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area in Clay County, Missouri. It currently boasts a student enrollment of about 1300 students (as of 2006 school year). The south campus consists of Smithville High School (9-12), Smithville Middle School (6-8), and the Smithville Upper Elementary School (3-5). The sorth campus includes only the Smithville Primary Elementary School (K-2). Smithville residents just recently at the beginning of April passed a bond for the continuation of construction on the facilities. This will add a new access road, better football stadium, and many desperately needed classroom additions, as the school is growing very rapidly.
