The Americas Zone was one of three zones of regional Fed Cup competition in 2006.

Group I

All matches played in Medellín, Colombia from 19 to 22 April.

Promotion Playoff

* 0 - 2 VEN
* DOM 2 - 0 BOL

Venezuela and Dominican Republic promoted to Americas Zone Group I in 2007.

Remaining Teams

Bermuda and Panama, the two remaining teams who did not have to play a promotion playoff since they both finished last in their pool, played an extra match against each other to determine places five and six overall in this group.
