Kenneth Wang

Kenneth Xiaoxuan Wang (Chinese 王小选)(born 1955) is a New Zealand politician, and a member of the ACT New Zealand party. He entered Parliament to replace Donna Awatere Huata, who was expelled from Parliament on 19 November,2004. Wang was sworn in on 30 November,2004.

Wang was born in China, and has 2 siblings. He arrived in New Zealand in 1984 and is now married with 2 children - "Collin", (born in 1995), who currently attends St. Kentigern's College and "Amy", (born in 1985), who has graduated and currently resides in Wellington.

Wang worked in the marketing and advertising sector in Auckland. He was New Zealand's second Chinese MP (with the first being Pansy Wong).

Wang contested the seat of Mt Roskill at the 2005 elections, and was seventh on ACT's party list. However, he was not returned to Parliament.

He is standing in the Electorate of Botany for the ACT New Zealand Party.
