Dziennik Związkowy or Polish Daily News (literally "Alliance Daily"), is the largest and the oldest
Polish language newspaper in theUnited States . Established in 1908 inChicago as an organ of the fraternal organization, thePolish National Alliance from whose headquarters in Chicago'sPolish Downtown the paper was originally printed. Published without break from its founding in 1908 until the present day, it is also the oldest Polish language newspaper in the world published without interruption.The circulation of its weekend edition is about 30 thousand consisting of about 130 pages. The paper is published and sold throughout the
Chicago metropolitan area , and - as a subscription - elsewhere in the United States. Copies are also sent for distribution toPoland in research libraries and to Parliament "(Sejm )".Every Wednesday, a section aimed at Chicago's
Gorals community appears, titled "The Highlander Chronicle" or "Kronika podhalańska" in Polish. Besides the main news section, the other sections of the paper are titled: "Kultura", "Sport".Additional magazine is published in every weekend edition titled "Kalejdoskop".The present editor-in-chief is Wojciech Białasiewicz, and his deputy is Peter K. Domaradzki.
