Offenhausen is a municipality in Upper Austria, Austria in the district Wels-Land. It has 1,546 inhabitants (census 2001). Although it is a rather small village nowadays, it has been a local centre of trade and handcraft in the past. Therefore it gained the official right to hold markets in 1534 from King Ferdinand I, what made a so called Markt out of the village.
