Juberi Memon

Juberi Memons (Urdu: میمن; Sindhi: ميمڻ) are an ethnic group residing in the Sindh Province of Pakistan. They speak Sindhi, and Kachi one of the Indo-Aryan languages Fact|date=May 2008. They are primarily involved in agriculture, business and education unlike other Memons who tend to be only businessmen Fact|date=May 2008 or only agriculture. They are generally believed to have be the descendants of those on the right hand flank of Mohammad Bin Qasim's forces which invaded. Fact|date=May 2008

The word "Memon" came from "Momen" which means "faithful". They came from Yeman with Mohammad Bin Qasim's army . Today Juberi Memons are settled in New Saidabad, Hyderabad and Karachiin Sindh province. Memon Communities Other sub-castes are Jumani, Deeplai, Yousefani and Bachani. They belongs to Bachani group.

This group is purely a religious minded group, mostly followers of Saudi Traditions so called "AL-Hadith" Ahele Hadis. (No Suni, Non Shea or other religious group). Haji Abdul Karim Memon who usually had visited at Mecca and had met a saint of Sindh "Rashdi of peer Jahando". Thay were migrated from Karachi and on a 4 miles distance they established new city "New saidabad" There homes are in the centre, now 90% their family members are migrated to Hyderabad and Karachi again due to the sudden demise of their religious saint, Alama's Badiudeen Shah Rashdi" and his brother. They are called Jubery Memon because they had been wearing "JUBA" i-e the coat over the Salwar Qamees as is being worn by Arabs over their "Tobe". Customarily they are bearded, they do not trim as per their creed " AL-Dadith" and they follow Hadis of Muhammad "Sala La hu allah wasalum" Hadit "Trim your moustache & grow your beard".

They are the most educated people in Sindh, in business and in services like Engineers, Qazi, Tabeeb, Doctors, Officers etc.

They migrate from Karachi to New saidabad Sindh near Hala Sharif. following Alam Badiudin Shah Rashdi of peer Jhando. Theh also speak kathiwari, Kachi and their relatives still lives in Bhuj, and Bombay.

Haji Abdul Karim Memon had Three sons Haji Allah Bachayo Memon, Haji Muhammad Bachal and Haji Shafi Muhammad.

Haji Allah Bachayo Memon had sons Haji Muhammad saleh (Late), Haji Muhammad Sidiique (Transporter, owner Al-Hijaz transport Company Hyderabad) (late), Haji Muhammad usman (Late) Haji Abdul Rahman Memon (Zamindar and Agricuturist in New Saidabad) and Haji Abdul Hadi Memon (Agriculturist, Business man and Philosopher).

Haji Muhammad Bachal Memon Had Sons (Abdul sattar Memon (Late) Forest Contractor, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Memon (in Mecca Saudi), Abdul Rasheed Memon (Retired Banker), Abdul Qadir Memon (Architect in Mecca Saudi), Manzoor Ahmed Memon (Sr. Professor/executive Mehran Engg University Jamshoro.

Haji Shafi Muhammad had sons Muhamad Anwar (Died (Supervisor Al-Hijaz Transport Company Hyderabad), Abdul Haee Memon (Business man New saidabad), Abdul Ghafoor Memon (Bank Officer)
