1991-06-14 . On1994-04-20 , the station changed it's call sign toWWSS . On1994-11-28 , the station changed toWWBZ and aired a syndicatedbeach music format as "The Breeze" while part of an LMA with WHBZ. On2004-12-07 , the change to the current letters was made. WAZS-FM airedurban contemporary and laterrhythmic CHR before the switch to the current format.
