History

*May 1 1911 Shimo-Soga Signal Position (下曽我信号所) opened.
*April 17 1922 Renamed to Shimo-Soga Signal Ground (下曽我信号場).
*May 15 1922 It was upgraded and became Shimo-Soga Station. Started handling passengers and freight.
*August 21 1962 Discontinued freight services.
*October 1 1967 Re-started freight services.
*April 1 1987 Along with privatization and division of JNR, Central Japan Railway Company and Japan Freight Railway Company started operating this station.
