Alabama in eastern Geneva County, State Route 27 is primarily a two-lane route. It serves as a connector from the Gulf coastbeach es along theFlorida Panhandle to major routes such as U.S. Highway 84 and U.S. Highway 231. Between the cities of Geneva and Enterprise, the route’s orientation is generally north-south. Upon leaving Enterprise, the route assumes a northeastward trajectory as it leads into Dale County. East of Ozark, the route, while still signed as “north” and “south”, assumes an east-west orientation until its terminus at AbbevilleCities along the route
