Flor Joglar de Gracia

Flor Joglar de Gracia

Flor Joglar de Gracia is a Puerto Rican actress and singer. She performed during the 1960s, with a theatre troupe known as "Teatro del Sesenta" ("Theatre of the Sixties"). She is more known recently for being the mother of urban music artist René Pérez, better known as Residente from the popular duet, Calle 13.

Recently, Joglar has been featured in some of Calle 13's video clips, predominantly that for the song "Tango del Pecado" (lit. "Tango of Sin"); she sings the song's last section in both the original recording (featured in the album Residente o Visitante) and the song's video. Her voice can also be heard in the intro to the song "Algo Con-sentido", a real life recording of a voicemail she left her son Renée out of concern for his album's violent content.
