HMS Solebay

Seven ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS "Solebay" after the battle of Solebay on 7 June 1672, the first battle of the Third Anglo-Dutch War.

* "Solebay", launched in 1694, was a sixth-rate of 32 guns, wrecked in 1709 near Boston, Massachusetts.
* "Solebay", launched in 1711, was a sixth-rate bomb vessel of 6 guns, sold in 1748.
* "Solebay", launched in 1742, was a sixth-rate of 20 guns. She fought in the War of the Austrian Succession and the Seven Years' War
* "Solebay", launched in 1763, was a sixth-rate of 28 guns. She fought in the American Revolutionary War and was wrecked in 1782.
* "Solebay", launched in 1785, was a fifth-rate frigate of 32 guns. She fought in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars and was wrecked in 1809.
* The fifth-rate "Iris" was renamed "Solebay".
* An "Algerine"-class minesweeper was laid down as "Solebay" but renamed "Skipjack".
* "Solebay" (D70), launched 1944, was a Battle-class destroyer broken up in 1967.
