Bovey Baronets

Bovey Baronets

Sir Ralph Bovey, 1st and last Baronet Bovey, of Hillfields, County Warwick, England was Sheriff of Warwickshire and, later, Bedfordshire. He died in 1679 without issue.

In 1633 he was admitted to Gray's Inn.

He was an attorney of the Court of Common Pleas (England)

He held the office of Sheriff of Warwickshire from 1652 to 1653 and lived in Solihull, Warwickshire. He was Sheriff of Bedfordshire from November 1668 to 1670 and lived in Long Stow, Cambridgeshire.

He was created 1st Baronet on 30 August 1660.

He married the daughter of 1st Baron Maynard.

He was buried in linen at Long Stow.
