The Panaitoliko- or the Panetoliko Mountains (Greek: Παναιτωλικό, Modern: "Akarnaniko", Katharevoussa: "Akarnanikon"), older forms: Panaitoliko and Panetolikon is a mountain range that dominate the northeastern part of the Aitolia-Akarnania as well as the southwestern Evrytania prefectures in western Greece. The mountain is the prefecture's highest summit at 1,924 m and the location is at Kyra-Vgena (Κυρα-Βγένα). Its length is approximately 25 km long from east to west and its width is approximately 15 km wide. The mountain extends from Agios Vlassios up to the area between Stavloi and the new Evinos dam.
Information
Forests are founded in the outer part of the mountain, bushes are sporadically founded, grasslands and rocks along with ledges covers the rest of the mountain range. The Evinos river flows to the south where it recently built a new dam.
The municipality of Panaitoliko derives its name from this mountain range.

Its panorama includes the mountains to the south and the southern Acheloos valley which includes Lake Trichonida and Agrinio, the nearby mountains of the Evrytania prefecure and the Vardousio mountains to the east. The Pindus mountains is to the north.
