A Multi Matrix grip pattern and reaction laminate construction allows the Synergie match ball to deliver improved handling whilst still maintaining the unique kicking performance of the current Xact ball".cite web | publisher=france2007.fr | title=Gilbert to supply official ball for RWC 2007|url=http://www.france2007.fr/rugby_article.php?id_rubrique=3&id_article=260&lang=en| accessdate=2007-04-23]
