The Roving Kind

"The Roving Kind" was a nationally syndicated television show that was distributed by Bill Burrud Productions, which aired on KCOP-TV, Los Angeles, from 1964 to 1966. The series ran for several years, and featured producers Milas Hinshaw and Buddy Noonan, who produced, filmed, and narrated the episodes.

"The Roving Kind" was for a family audience. The travel documentary showed how families could travel on a family budget. The series was shot on location throughout the United States including Hawaii, and also in Mexico. National monuments, state parks, and tourist attractions were featured, as well as state historical sites.
