"The Roving Kind" was a nationally syndicated
television show that was distributed byBill Burrud Productions, which aired onKCOP-TV ,Los Angeles , from1964 to1966 . The series ran for several years, and featured producers Milas Hinshaw andBuddy Noonan , who produced, filmed, and narrated the episodes."The Roving Kind" was for a family audience. The travel documentary showed how families could travel on a family budget. The series was shot on location throughout the United States including Hawaii, and also in Mexico. National monuments, state parks, and tourist attractions were featured, as well as state historical sites.
