- Tamapo'uli'alamafoa
In the
Polynesian mythology of theTonga n island of okinaAta, the god Tamapookinauliokinaalamafoa [In some sources the name is given as "Tamapo", but this may not be a genuine abbreviation, but rather a careless misquote.] is the king of the heavens. He is the one who ordered (through his servants all called Tangaloa (Tangaloa okinaEiki, Tangaloa Tufunga, and Tangaloa okinaAtulongolongo)) the sub-god Laufakanaokinaa to become ruler of that island.According to others, however, Tangaloa okinaEiki was the ancestor god and Tangaloa Tamapookinaulialamafoa, Tangaloa okinaEitumātupuokinaa, Tangaloa okinaAtulongolongo, and Tangaloa Tufunga his offspring.
