1960 Phoenix, Arizona ), served as executive director of Criminal Justice Addiction Services inLakewood, Colorado , from 1995 to 2008. In 2002 and 2003 he petitioned the LakewoodCity Council and the Jefferson County Board of Health to recommend making all restaurants and other businesses totally smoke free. Kannenberg is a certified case manager and a licensedaddiction counselor who designed the Resocial Group (TM) curriculum to decreaserecidivism for inmates withAntisocial Personality Disorder and a coexisting substance abuse or dependence. Hisevidence based techniques, first created in 1986, are considered "sociotherapy " and "cognitive behavioral therapy ."
