Wheatleigh, one of many Berkshire Cottages, is located on Hawthorne Road in Lenox, Massachusetts, United States. It was built by Henry H. Cook and given to his daughter, Georgie, as a wedding gift when she married Count Carlos de Heredia. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places [ [http://www.nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com/ma/berkshire/state4.html|National Register of Historical Places - MASSACHUSETTS (MA), Berkshire County] ] . Wheatleigh was designed by premier architectural firm Peabody and Stearns. Frederick Law Olmsted, who famously designed New York's Central Park, designed Wheatleigh's surrounding lands. Today, Wheatleigh is operated as a hotel.
