Terrorism in the Grip of Justice

Terrorism in the Grip of Justice

"Terrorism in the Grip of Justice" is a popular primetime television reality show that began broadcast by the Al Iraqiya network from right before the January 2005 national elections. It features footage of forced confessions of guilt from captured members of the Iraqi insurgency who were captured by the Iraqi Army.

Criticism

It has come under international criticism, mainly from Human Rights Watch for an alleged flouting of the terms of the Geneva Convention, which bars the public display and humiliation of captured combatants.
