Hillary Howard

__NOTOC__Hillary Howard is an Emmy-award winning reporter. She currently co-anchors (along with Shawn Anderson) the 2pm to 7pm shift on all-news station WTOP in Washington, DC.

Career

Hillary began as a radio newsperson in suburban New York. She then moved on to reporting the weather on television in the Catskills. She has also reported the weather for WAVY-TV in Portsmouth, Virginia, again at WTTG, becoming a weekend anchor, and for WUSA, as a morning weather forecaster from 2000 to 2004. Howard previously hosted a show on WTWP Radio with Bob Kur. In 2007, "Washington Post Radio", as WTWP was known on the air, flipped to an all-talk format and Howard (along with Kur) moved to sister station WTOP.

Family

Hillary Howard is married to Dave Statter. The couple live in Virginia with their son, Sammy.

Awards

Hillary won her Emmy for best weathercaster in Washington. She has also won awards for hard news, feature reporting, the Chesapeake AP Award and the Imagen Award. She placed as a finalist in the New York TV and Film Festivals.
