Jay Steinfeld

Jay Steinfeld is the founder and CEO of Global Custom Commerce, a direct marketing company and, mostly through blinds.com, the current industry leader in online window covering sales Fact|date=March 2008.

Steinfeld earned a BBA in Accounting with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, he worked for KPMG Peat, Marwick, then became Vice-president, Finance of the national franchise, Meineke Discount Mufflers. After starting a small chain of window coverings retail stores, Steinfeld launched his first Web site in 1996 and eventually sold his stores to go exclusively online.

In 2006, Blinds.com was ranked #186 on the Internet Retailer 500, and was the 10th fastest growing site on the list Fact|date=March 2008.
