Eddie Paul

Eddie Paul (born May 30, 1948 in San Francisco, CA) is an American inventor, designer, and car customizer now residing in El Segundo, CA. He holds numerous U.S. patents and is currently Owner/CEO of E.P. Industries, Inc. E.P. Industries includes Prototech Machine Engineering, a specialized research, development and prototyping CNC machine shop as well as Customs By Eddie Paul, an automotive fabrication and custom painting facility that is well-known among car enthusiasts. Eddie's shop is also referred to as "The Shark Shop" due to the many Great White Shark-related projects that have appeared on The Discovery Channel.

The subject of the film Hollywood's Best Kept Secret, for more than 35 years, Eddie has been called upon by film and television studios to perform the impossible. Whether it be to design and build real-life vehicles from animated drawings (Disney's "Cars" characters Lightning McQueen, Sally Carrera and Tow Mater), or a 14-foot mechanical Great White Shark to take a diver face-to-face with the real thing (the CBS special "Mind of a Demon" and Discovery Channel's "Shark Week"), Eddie Paul and his crew at E.P. Industries/Customs By Eddie Paul have pulled off miracle after miracle without missing a beat. Extreme deadlines are the norm, and Eddie has created a webshow about his incredible ability to beat the clock, sometimes within mere seconds. Eddie Paul is a movie car builder whose work may be seen in such movies as "The Fast And The Furious", "xXx", "Grease", "Taxi", and "Gone in 60 Seconds". Eddie has also done work for TV shows such as "The Dukes of Hazzard", and "Mork and Mindy". Eddie also worked as a stuntman for several years. He planned and performed stunts in such films as "Ice Pirates" and "Streets of Fire".
