Joan de Dacre Baroness Dacre of Gilsland (1430 – 8 March 1486. She was also known as Joan de Dacre Baroness Dacre. Her father was Sir Thomas de Dacre and her mother was Elizabeth Bowet Baroness Clavering.
Joan de Dacre married Sir Richard Fiennes in 1446.
Joan de Dacre's husband Sir Richard Fiennes was declared a baron in right of his wife on the death of her father, Sir Thomas Dacre. Soon after a great contest arose respecting the barony, between Sir Richard and Humphrey, Joan's uncle; in consequence of which the title of Baron Dacre was awarded by King Edward IV of England in 1473 to Sir Richard Fiennes and Joan his wife, and the manor of Gilsland was adjudged to Humphrey, who was at the same time created baron Dacre of Gilsland, with right of precedency next after Richard Fiennes Lord Dacre.
