Subscription computing models for PC have been available in a number of countries and regions such as
Mexico ,Philippines , theMiddle East , andEurope for several years. Telephone Companies are also able to more effectively protect the PC asset and more easily roll out new PC-based subscription services. The pace of adoption by consumers will likely accelerate as network operator partners in many countries and regions launch more subscription offerings.The global
infrastructure is gearing up for the predicted demand. High-speed Internet service connections are being deployed aggressively, particularly in the fastest-growing market economies. In these markets alone, some estimates suggest that approximately 110 million new broadband connections will come online in the next five years.References
