Killeagh is a small village located in east
County Cork , in the Ireland. It is approximately 32 kilometres from Cork city, 10 kilometres west ofYoughal and 14 kilometres east ofMidleton and is situated on the N25 National Primary route and the former rail line connecting Youghal and Cork.Demographics
The population of Killeagh has increased significantly in recent years. The 2006 census recorded a population of 521. Killeagh GAA grounds [http://www.killeaghgaa.com/] and Glenbower Wood [http://www.esatclear.ie/~exfish/glenbower_frameset.htm] , which is situated along part of the Dissour River valley to the north of the village.In recent years, Killeagh has experienced a significant amount of residential development.

There are five buildings or other structures entered in the Record of Protected Structures, including Killeagh Mills, Saint John & Saint Virgilius Catholic Church, the Church of Ireland and Dromdiah Country House and Stables, which is located to the northeast of the village.
