Overview

As everybody gathers for the regular poker game (including visiting physicans Major Sidney Freedman (Allan Arbus) and Captain Sam Pak (Pat Morita), a wounded criminal investigation agent is brought in to the operating room and Major Burns chooses to obey standing orders against treating him (for fear the agent will divulge secrets under anaesthesia) until the arival of another CID agent - upon learning of situation, chief surgeon Captain Pierce flauts procedure in order to save the man's life. Radar accidentally runs over “Whiplash Hwang,” a Korean who makes a career of faking injuries and filing personal injury lawsuits. This episode sees the first appearance of recurring character, Colonel Sam Flagg (Edward Winter), albeit under a different identity (possibly a pseudonym): Captain Halloran. John Ritter guest stars as a soldier who takes Major Burns hostage to get home.
