Vateshvara

Vateshvara

Vateshvara (वटेश्वर) (born 880), a 10th century Indian mathematician who presented several trigonometric identities. He was the author of Vateswara Siddhanta written in 904 AD, a treatise focusing on astronomy and applied mathematics.
