Central Maine Community College is a community college located in Auburn, Maine. It is one of the seven colleges in the Maine Community College System.

History

Founded in 1963 as Androscoggin State Vocational Institute. It's name was changed to Central Maine Technical College in 1989. As part of a statewide name change of the technical college system, on July 1, 2003 it became Central Maine Community College.

The college is located in Auburn, Maine, north of Portland in the south central region of Maine The convert|135|acre|km2|sing=on campus overlooks Lake Auburn.

Campus

Classrooms, lecture hall, library, dining facilities, computer labs and administrative offices in are located in Jalbert Hall. Classrooms, lecture hall, computer labs, science labs, gymnasium, Athletic offices, Corporate and Community Services and faculty offices are located in Kirk Hall. Three residence halls provide housing for 120 students.
