Albert Moses (born 19 December 1937) is a UK based Sri Lankan actor born in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He started acting over 30 years ago in India where he appeared in 7 films. He also produced and directed the 8th one. From India he then moved on to Africa where he made documentaries for a while. In the UK, Albert has been involved in several diverse projects, some of which were filmed around the globe. Arguably, his most famous role was that of Ranjeet Singh, a Sikh from Punjab, India, in the hit ITV series, Mind Your Language, in the late 1970s to the 80s. As with the rest of the characters in the series, led by Barry Evans, his role would now be considered racially and ethnically stereotypic, including his enmity with a Pakistani Muslim, played by Dino Shafeek.

Albert has played many minor roles in film, television and theatrical productions with many actors including: Kirk Douglas, Oliver Reed, Sir John Gielgud, Roger Moore, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Charles Dance, Kenneth Williams, Benny Hill, Tim Piggott Smith, Pamela Stevenson, Diana Rigg and many others.
