Mike Dolce (born April 15, 1976 in Belmar, New Jersey) is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He has fought nationally for the Portland Wolfpack of the International Fight League and was a cast member of SpikeTV's The Ultimate Fighter 7.

Bio

Dolce is the son of a NY firefighter and Division I women’s college basketball player. His first lessons were in jiu-jitsu and after he performed well against a professional fighter, he gave up his well-paying job as a Municipal Tax Assessor in New Jersey to pursue a career in professional fighting. He moved to Oregon in February 2005 to begin a career as a professional Mixed Martial Artist.

Personal life

Outside of the ring, Mike is an accomplished writer, penning a monthly column for Extreme Fighter Magazine and his recent blogs on "The Ultimate Fighter 7" have become the most read in the history of the series. Dolce is also publishing a book on health and fitness, "The D O L C E Diet", in 2008.

Mike has a wife named Brandy, who also is a talented writer. She was a columnist for the Asbury Park Press newspaper in NJ before moving with Mike to Portland, Ore. She now owns the highly-regarded agency, Dolce Travels, and continues to write professionally. [cite web
