During an archeological dig, the remains of a baby's corpse was found by Carla and Janeece. Once the new head, Miss Mason found out she immediately contacted the police. An investigation kicks off and Steph must interview each girl at Waterloo Road who has been to the school nurse with sexual health problems. In the end Maxine admits to Janeece that the baby was in fact hers, and she was still born. Baby Charlotte was buried by Maxine and was fathered by Lewis Seddon. Lewis blamed himself for the death of his and Maxine's daughter making out that he would have been a bad father.
Exit
Fitzpatrick is wanted by the police for failing to attend court over
assault ing his girlfriend. As such, the character did not appear in the second half of Series 3 and it has since been announced that he will not be returning for Series 4, though this is due to the producers feeling that the time had come for the character to be discontinued.External links
