Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee

Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee

The Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee is a Sikh religious organisation in Pakistan. Its creation and organisation is sponsored by the Government of Pakistan. Similar to the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) in India, the organisation is entrusted with the maintenance of Sikh religious institutions, places of worships ("gurdwara") and the well-being of the Pakistani Sikh community. Its main organisation is based in Lahore in the province of Punjab. However, the PSGPC is opposed by the SGPC, which regards itself as the sole guardian of Sikh institutions and religion worldwide.
