CJSC Sky Express ( _ru. ЗАО «Небесный Экспресс»), also known in Russian as "Скай Экспресс", is the first and only Russian airline presenting itself as a low-coster focusing on internal flights. Its main base is Vnukovo International Airport.

History

The airline was established in March 2006 by a consortium of investors which included KrasAir CEO Boris Abrmovich, EBRD, Altima Partners and others, becoming the Russia's first low-cost airline. The first flight took off on 29 January 2007 from Moscow to Sochi.
