Hive Records

Hive Records is an American independent record label that mainly focuses on powernoise, trip hop, ambient, IDM and other sub-genres of industrial music. The label was founded in 2003 by DJ Insect and DJ Caustic in Dallas, Texas.

Artists that have released music through Hive Records include Pneumatic Detach, Manufactura, C2, Censor, The Liar's Rosebush, Mashup Soundsystem, Tekniq and Terminal Sound System.

DJ Caustic parted with the label in 2004.

In 2005 Hive Records created Suspicious Records, a sublabel that would focus on their trip hop, downtempo and Illbient releases.
