CBC Television affiliate forMoose Jaw, Saskatchewan .The station signed on the air on
July 7 ,1959 under the ownership of CHAB Ltd., the parent company of Moose Jaw radio station CHAB. It later switched its affiliation to CTV onAugust 25 ,1962 , also setting up Regina station CHRE-TV on the air as itssemi-satellite onDecember 21 that year. OnJuly 18 ,1969 , the stations were purchased by theCanadian Broadcasting Corporation , re-naming them as CBKMT (Moose Jaw) and CBKRT (Regina) respectively onSeptember 13 ,1969 [ [http://www.broadcasting-history.ca/listings_and_histories/television/histories.php?id=92&historyID=94 Canadian Communications Foundation - Fondation Des Communications Canadiennes ] ] .The stations' call-signs were changed once more, to their current ones of CBKT-1 (Moose Jaw), and
