Jamie Glover (born
10 July 1969 ) is an Englishactor .Career
Glover made his professional debut in the soap opera "Jupiter Moon". Other television credits include "Birds of a Feather", "Casualty", "New Tricks" and "
Midsomer Murders ". He has also worked in film and theatre.However, he is best known for playing Andrew Treneman in BBC school-set drama, "Waterloo Road", alongside
Jason Merrells andAngela Griffin . He appeared in the first episode of the series on9 March 2006 as the school's deputy head teacher. Having left "Waterloo Road" at the end of Series Two, he appeared in "Trial and Retribution XVII: The Rules of the Game".He has also provided voiceovers for adverts and computer games.
He has directed student productions at
RADA and in 2008 he will make his directorial debut with a production of "Measure For Measure " for theAmbassador's Theatre Group ".Personal life
Glover is the son of actor
Julian Glover and actressIsla Blair . He attended Frensham Heights School in Farnham, Surrey and trained at theCentral School of Speech and Drama .He has a daughter called Edie, born in 2006.
