sexologist , was born inEngland in 1910. He was educated at theSorbonne in Paris and atCambridge University . He holds aPhD degree insocial science .Dr. Chartham's experience in counselling began in 1930 when, as a
social worker , he was the first person in theUnited Kingdom to give sex instruction classes for teenagers. His career includes teaching and counselling in European universities, lecturing to British university students on "How to Enjoy Sex" and currently serving as a counsellor in his ownLondon clinic.Dr. Chartham has written numerous books including "Mainly for Wives" in 1963, "Sex for Advanced Lovers" in 1970 and "The Sensuous Couple" in 1971, among others. He was an editorial consultant to "Forum: The International Journal of Human Relations." Each year he personally answered over 4000 letters from readers throughout the world seeking help with their sexual problems.
The article was included in the last mentioned book, published in 1972 by PENTHOUSE/Ballantine. The sender does not know if Dr. Chartham is still alive and has no picture of him.
