Gordon Sheppard

Gordon Sheppard (1937–February 19, 2006) was an author, photographer, and filmmaker based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is most famous for his book "Ha!" (2003, ISBN 0-7735-3100-9), a literary treatment of the life and suicide of his friend and fellow Montreal author Hubert Aquin in 1977. Quebec filmmaker Francine Pelletier filmed Sheppard's last few months and his funeral, and plans to release a documentary film.
