Hamza Bencherif (born February 2, 1988 in Paris, France) is an Algerian football player who is currently playing for Nottingham Forest in England's Football League Championship. He came through the junior ranks at French club EA Guingamp.

Bencherif was loaned out to Lincoln City in October 2007, where he made 12 Football League Two appearances, scoring once.

He has 7 caps for the Algerian Under 20 National Team.
