Australian rules football player, currently a midfielder for theKangaroos Football Club in theAustralian Football League .He was a mature draft pick in 2003 when he went to the Kangaroos as a third round selection at pick 40. Before his AFL début he played for the
Central District Bulldogs in theSouth Australian National Football League . Sansbury played his best AFL game to date in North Melbourne's 17 point loss to West Coast in Round 19 of the 2007 Season. Sansbury collected 18 possessions and kicked a goal playing in his new attacking manner that has won him acclaim, with his career being in jeopardy previously after a string of poor defensive performances in the AFL.In Round 22 of 2007, Sansbury kicked 5 goals in the 64 point win over the Western Bulldogs. He has had his best season in Kangaroo colours to date, and will be a permanent fixture in the finals series you would think.
