Allied Aviation

Allied Aviation

__NOTOC__

The Allied Aviation Corporation was established in Cockeysville, Maryland during World War II to manufacture laminated plywood components for aircraft. The firm also developed its own flying boat transport glider for the US Navy, the LRA and a small amphibious aircraft, the Trimmer, but neither of these progressed past the prototype stage. Following the war, the company changed direction to focus on sailboat manufacture.
