Leading the Way

Leading the Way

Leading the Way is the international Christian media ministry of Dr. Michael Youssef. Founded in 1988 as a local radio program for Atlanta, Georgia, Leading The Way is now broadcast via radio and television in more than 100 countries.

The signature dual-language radio broadcasts originated in 1996 with an English-Arabic program for the Middle East and North Africa. This format features Dr. Youssef's English teaching and a phrase-by-phrase translation into the listener's native language. The broadcast appeals both to those interested in learning about Christianity and to those who wish to gain a mastery of the English language.

The dual-language format is now produced in over 20 different languages around the world, including Arabic, Mandarin, Indonesian, Turkish, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, French, Hindi, Bengali, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Amharic, Tamil, Albanian, Thai, Bahasa Indonesian, Portuguese, English, and ESL. Between now and 2009, there are plans to add two more broadcasts in the languages of Portuguese and Japanese.
