Contaminated Gaussian

Contaminated Gaussian

Contaminated Gaussian noise is a non-Gaussian noise, drawn from a Gaussian mixture process. This process has the following probability density function:

f(x) = (1-\epsilon)\phi(x / \sigma_1) + \epsilon \phi(x / \sigma_2)
