Broad Run Reservoir

Broad Run Reservoir or Fourth Hollow Reservoir is one of four reservoirs located in the Broad Mountain within the Borough of Nesquehoning. It was built in 1970-1971.It is located in a small valley in the Broad Mountain. The reservior is filled from the water runoff in the mountain.

It can hold approximately 127 million gallons of water and is approximately 35 feet deep at its deepest point. It provides drinking water for the Borough of Nesquehoning. This is the newest and only reservoir, out of the four, being used for a water source.

The water that goes over the spillway flows into the Nesquehoning Creek.
